Several NHL scouts have told me that this is not an overly deep draft class, and that's my feeling as well. One even suggested that there may not be any first-line forwards, and certainly no franchise players. May be an appropriate year for teams to deal a first at the deadline.

NHL Draft: LHD Jack Peart of Grand Rapids High School named Mr. Hockey Award-winner as top sr HS boys’ hcky player in Minnesota. Peart (5-11, 180) is a B rated prspct on Central Scouting's PTW list for the 2021 draft. Had 11-24-35 in 18gms. Committed to St. Cloud State next fall.
